The Stone of Love - Rose Quartz

Rose Quartz is our signature stone, the stone of love -love for oneself, one's life partner, children, family, friends, community, the Earth, the Universe and the Divine. Rose Quartz is a very powerful stone, it stimulates and opens the heart chakra and clears the emotional body. It is the gemstone that beckons the mother, woman and designer in me. It derives it's name from the color of the stone, which ranges from very pale pink to deep reddish pink.

Truth be told I have learned how to harness the power from most stones and have become an avid collector. I feel the stones are more powerful worn as jewelry. They are in contact with your vibrations and frequencies bringing about healing and spiritual expansion.

I wear Rose Quartz jewelry all the time. It is the stone that chose me or that I needed, due to my many years of carrying around a broken heart. It has helped guide me to heal myself and to share a message of inspiring self love and self care within others. It is my deepest belief through my experiences in life that if you can truly love yourselves first, then you are more open and selflessly cable of loving others. Meditating with Rose Quartz provides love energy around oneself and activates the heart chakra to awaken the innate love.

This is especially important for mothers, mothers to be and wives. This is because there is such a demand for our attention and energy from our mates, children, careers and life. So we rarely have time to care and love ourselves as we desire or deserve. Honestly we all have damaged hearts from our childhoods and relationships. These wounds eventually reopen due to triggers in life, if we do not take the time to heal. We heal through self love and self care, we come to realizations on how we want to be loved and treated in relationships and life.
